It is just about the laser focus on consumer need really, in the case of a revolution like Web3.d it is first to understand what they don't understand yet, and make it simple. 

As the constant challenger of value propositions, do you ever envision yourself on a comedy stage, challenging the norms of marketing with a mic in hand?

I would probably crack a few jokes on marketing vs communication and the intricate relationship with CFO’s, finishing by presenting acronyms and KPIs.  Talking Stand up and challenging the norm I am really into Tina Friml, check her out !

You’ve heading marketing for big brands such as Canada Goose, GANT or The North Face, why are getting involved with Metagora ?

I have been a startuper myself in the early 2Ks, trying to stream video at the very beginning of broadband, that was 10 different readers, codecs etc at that time, a real tech challenge but you can see how far it went now with Netflix, YT etc. 

Web3.d will revolutionize the web experience, working with metagora they found ways to solve some of the biggest  challenges I had as marketeer, from delivering information lets say Go To Market all the way down to frontline training on the shop floor in the fastest and most entertaining way. Now with the 3D ecommerce the brand experience will reach another level, I am very excited about this new experiences and the convergence of the best of technology. Attention has been a major concern in the last few years here you have a solve with the combination of 3D immersive storytelling, 3D products views and AI, all scalable and fast. 

Curiosity Overdrive: Your passion for innovation is deep. How do you keep that curiosity engine running, and have you ever chased a marketing idea down a rabbit hole, only to find a mad hatter at the end? 

Mad hatter no but crazy peeps sometimes yes ! Back to the first question it is sometimes more about the lack of understanding of the business that actual madness, For innovation I am strong believer of the 70/20/10 investment strategy tho, innovation doesnt happen by chance you need to dedicate budget to it, 10% is manageable, not everything will work but you dig enough to get an understanding of what works or doesnt for you, and double down on whats working, I really loved working with the webster in the US and build a immersive video game at Canada Goose for example, the dwell time was incredible, people really spent time exploring, the ecommerce fonction didn't work at that time so it was more a brand experience, with the tech convergence at metagora you can plug in all business fonctionalities now story telling, products and shopping, so calling all my fellow marketeers, it is the right time to invest in web3.D. I also invite all leaders to spend at least an hour a week to understand the opportunities out there at the moment.

You’ve been interacting with big corporations what is the culture at Metagora and how you adapt 

Its always about the people and how they express their purpose for me. I originally engaged with Tony and the team around product development, I might say the big corporation trick was actually to bring the Why? Question at the very beginning. “Bring progress in organisation with the right use of technology”, I could really relate to that ! From there its been all fun and wonders, all the guys are great listeners, the level of agility is incredible,  with that they over delivered in all sectors with a consumer centric approach in everything they do. I love to be part of this journey and show off with my former business partners 😛
